Roshonda is the founder of Speech Therapy Zone PLLC, with over 16 years of pediatric experience as a therapist in both the school and clinical settings. She is licensed in the states of North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association (ASHA).

 

Roshonda specializes in early childhood speech-language development and has supported hundreds of families providing teletherapy services and in person clinic based services. She has been honored to serve as an independent speech and language consultant to private pre-schools, and public charter schools throughout NC, SC and GA, supporting school staff and administration in supporting the communication needs of their students.

 

Roshonda's holistic, individualized approach is paramount to helping children and families thrive to reach their highest communication potential. Her goal is to support and promote a sense of self and a focus on the overall wellness of each child. When she's not partnering with parents to improve their child's communication, she’s a wife, mom of two and enjoys spending time with her family. She volunteers locally speaking to area high school students and internationally, coaching families in Belize and in her local church and community. 

 

In 2022, Roshonda began coaching and mentoring for SLP clinicians aspiring entrepreneurship and launching their own therapy business. She launched Thriving SLPreneur, an online coaching and mentoring program for SLP's in private practice. In 2023, Roshonda published The Faith-Filled Clinician, How To Thrive In Private Practice And Live Out Your Purpose In Life.
